 Meet Lucky, he is one of our success stories, proving why permanent identification is of utmost importance. His story is lovely and moving.
Scott Switzer has known Lucky since he was 6 weeks old. Lucky and Scott were the best of friends until one day, Lucky went missing. It was many years before Scott and his best friend were reunited. After being in various homes, to many clinics and finally ending up at Animal Control, it was Lucky's tattoo that brought him back home. Scott's wife, whom Lucky has never met, went to the CRD to pick him up, calling his name out. After 6 long years, he heard the name he had been waiting to be called, his ears perked up and he ran to greet his new mom. The family is now reunited and Lucky is enjoying his life with his dad, new mom and new brothers and sisters.
