Adoption Centre at Pacific Cat Clinic

As a practice that exclusively treats feline patients, we see it as our duty to care for as many kittens and cats as possible, especially those living on the streets. Since 2006, our team has been running The Pacific Cat Clinic Adoption Program to help stray kittens find their forever homes. We help pet parents find feline friends to welcome into their loving families. Are you interested in adoption? Please feel free to call us at 250.475.2287 and we will be happy to answer your questions as best as we can.

How can I adopt a kitten from your clinic?

Please send an email to adoption@pacificcatclinic.com to inquire or to be added to our Interest List. We send out photos and descriptions to clients in our Interest List when we have kittens ready for adoption. We also post kittens ready for adoption on our Facebook page. If a special kitten catches your eye, please complete our Adoption Application Form for consideration within 24 hours of receiving the initial email. All applications received during that period will be reviewed and each kitten will be matched to the home best suited to their individual needs. If you have been approved for adoption, we will collect a deposit of $100 to hold the kitten until a pick up time is decided.

Do you provide medical care to the kittens?

Yes. All of the kittens we welcome into our clinic are treated right away with a routine veterinary exam. Below are some of the basic treatments we provide for all of the kittens we house and put up for adoption:

  • Deworming, flea removal and other parasite control
  • Vaccinations and boosters
  • Baths and pawdicures
  • Blood tests and fecal/urine exams for certain diseases
  • Spaying or neutering
  • Microchipping or tattooing for permanent ID

Do you house adult cats?

Yes. Sometimes we have a momma cat come in with her litter, or we take in pregnant cats. This allows them to give birth and raise their babies in a safe and warm environment before both mom and kittens are available for adoption!
