Cindy is a Registered Professional Biologist from Colombia who moved to Victoria with her husband in 2024 to pursue a Master of Arts in Environment and Management. She has experience in wildlife rehabilitation and animal care, having worked with birds, mammals, and reptiles rescued from trafficking and neglect situations. Cindy is deeply passionate about nature and animal welfare, and she loves working closely with cats and supporting their comfort and well-being.
Naturally curious and eager to learn, she is also interested in research related to biology and ecological connectivity. Outside of work, Cindy is a runner who has completed a half marathon, enjoys hiking, loves salsa music, and has a strong interest in reading about political history.
